About:
I was born in Haliburton, Ontario, Canada, a small town in Ontario’s Lake District. A love of art and design led me to a Graphic Design Diploma.
Following a career in policing as an RCMP constable (Canadian Mountie) and a Deputy Sheriff in British Columbia, I returned to University for 2-D and 3-D animation – I had made use of my Graphic Design for various freelance occupations.
My work in the animation and video game industry began at a 2-D studio, Studio B Productions in Vancouver, drawing animation backgrounds, props and storyboards (Bob and Margaret, What About Mimi, George Shrinks, Braceface, being Ian etc.). Next I went to work for Electronic Arts in Vancouver, on the "Need for Speed" series of games, and after that as a concept artist on Mario Strikers Charged at Next Level Games in Vancouver and just recently Relic on a RTS.
I am married to a wonderful woman and we have a 7 year old son and a big rough collie.
I was recently laid-off from Relic/THQ and I am now looking for new opportunities.
